Deas Vail is working hard to make sure their presence is known, just wrapping up a successful club trek with Lydia and a run on Vans Warped Tour 2010, the band is excited to release two b-sides, "Under Our Skin" and "All Eyes Are On You Now" to hit digitally TODAY.
The band’s Mono vs. Stereo debut Birds & Cages is out now, a dozen songs that take on mammoth-sized questions about freedom, love, hope, fear, transformation and just what it means to become a better human being. That might seems like a tall order for a modern rock album but Deas Vail make their soul searching inquiries sound exhilarating, with swooning choruses, sparkly panoramic arrangements and lyrics that flirt with darkness but ultimately tilt towards optimism.
